Paul Glen to Lead enhanced UK Division

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Glen as lead Partner of our enhanced UK division.

Paul has led many multinational companies; most notably in the insurance sector as CEO with experience in the UK, Irish, European and Australian markets. He is also an experienced non-executive director and regulatory advisor. His insights will help our regulated clients tackle EU wide and UK regulatory change; specifically those businesses that lack the depth of experience at board level to address multi domiciliary issues.

Move responds to increasing demand for deeper strategic and regulatory competence at Board level

Welcoming Paul, Board Matters International Managing Partner, Eamonn Quinn noted;

“Boards and individual directors are under significant pressure to deliver truly sustainable value; to comply with ever more complex regulation and so be truly accountable for their performance. There is an entirely new emphasis on ESG and robust risk frameworks, across all jurisdictions, which are far more nuanced than Boards first imagined. The appointment of Paul strengthens our capability in the UK to help our clients meet these challenges”.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul Glen said;

“Never before has the Board of Directors had to work as hard to keep ahead of the shifting cultural and regulatory sands. The need to be truly transparent; to sponsor and foster appropriate culture that promotes true diversity of thought for long term better outcomes is a goal many Boards aspire to but cannot reach without independent and objective help. I look forward to applying my practical experience in the boardroom to develop solutions for clients of Board Matters International“.
